Product Description And Additional Pictures

The superb clay deposits in the Limoges region of France gave rise to a bustling and productive porcelain industry. Many fine porcelain manufacturers and decorating studios produced a wealth of beautiful dinnerware which have not only withstood the test of time, but which also continues to set the standard in fine dinnerware!

We have six matching white and gold Tressemanes & Vogt Limoges plates 7-1/2" in diameter. These plates are in very good condition with gilding on the outer border and a gold margin painted on the inner verge. The backstamp on these plates is the T & V inside the red bell which was used from 1907 to 1919. Given the age of these plates they are in wonderful condition -- they have no chips, cracks or significant abrasions, and very little gold loss to the borders. Our photographs taken of the Tressemans & Vogt plates show the featured plates alone, and also show them paired as salad or side plates with our beautiful Syracuse red and gold dinner plates, as well as with other vintage or antique items of porcelain and crystal. We hope that our viewers will find our table settings helpful in demonstrating how antique, vintage and even modern items can be merged to create an exceptional modern tabletop. Of course, many of the items shown with our white and gold T & V plates are also for sale and are featured on this website.

Please note, this sale is for the six Tressemanes & Vogt white and gold salad/side plates only.

Our shipping costs on this set of dishes will be $30.00. If this seems a tad high, please understand that in most instances, we will actually pay more to ship your items than we are actually charging! In addition, we will often send sets of dishes in multiple boxes because we pack them very carefully, to ensure that they reach you in the condition that they were in when they left our care. We often joke with each other that we could probably stick a stamp and a mailing address on our bubble-wrapped items, and dispense entirely with the box. That is because we use a large quantity of bubble wrap and other packing materials to protect the items that you buy. So please understand that the shipping we charge you reflects only a portion of our actual cost!
