We are pleased to offer another wonderful Roseville tea set in the scarce White Rose pattern in pink, which includes the lidded tea pot, creamer and sugar. The White Rose pattern was introduced by Roseville in 1940, and was produced in blue, pink and brown. This pattern boasts squat, bicone shaped pieces with curvy handles. They are embellished with yellow centered white rose blossoms and bright green serrated oval leaves which appear on both sides of all the pieces. The foliage on our tea set contrast beautifully against the distinctive Roseville pink color, which comprises the top part of all the pieces. The lower portion of the pieces in this pattern are variegated greens.
The teapot measures 7" tall and 9" wide. It is signed on the bottom with the raised Roseville script mark, and shape number 1T.
The creamer is 2-1/2" tall and 6" wide. It is signed on the bottom with the raised Roseville script mark, and shape number 1C.
The sugar is 2-1/2" tall and 6" wide. It is signed on the bottom with the raised Roseville script mark, and shape number 1S.
Our tea set is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, or repairs. There is peppering on all three pieces, which is common in white or light colored glazes, and is often seen in Roseville. This pattern is susceptible to peppering, and does not adversely affect its beauty or its value. The teapot also has a factory glaze skip on the front of the piece beneath the rose.
We have taken many pictures of this beautiful set so that you can view all of the pieces in great detail. We have included many below. Please visit our Facebook page to see additional images not shown on this site.
